Re: Rakshasa nerf
the pm summon is too high of a level for you to dismiss..same with high end mummy dust and epic summons are a little tough also.

While not an offensive power, it would atleast give the rak something to do after the initial spell breachGhostly wrote:I was leaning more towards Rak's having something like dismissal. Nothing wrecks a caster's day more than seeing his/her fully buffed summons, or freshly cast bigby go by way of the dodo
TNC currently havent offensive casters beyond an imploder, but keep the faith that druids will one day be restored to a viable offensive caster.Rufio wrote: Breach is nice for the auto-strip of course, but there aren't a lot of offensive casters in TC that need the sr reduction, and it really only strips the "secondary" buffs on a target that aren't always that important, while dispel strips the core buffs like bulls, cats, divine favor, divine power, tensors, and others that can really make or break a build.

You clearly entirely forget about bards. Those ice storms sure pack some punch .Shadowalker wrote:While not an offensive power, it would atleast give the rak something to do after the initial spell breachGhostly wrote:I was leaning more towards Rak's having something like dismissal. And it's very nice that bard can autoquicken, maximize and empower those ice storms. /sarcasmmining wrote:You clearly entirely forget about bards. Re: Rakshasa nerf
IMO, ice storms did not do a lot of dmg to be removed, but I also think that scythe should be slash and pierce, that pure bards should get a bonus, that barbs should not have been nerfed and that EMA should be +12 shield ac.
I don't think dismissal is the right spell to replace ice storms. Dismissal rods are cheap. If NC/TC crowd wants it, it's okay with me, but I think it's silly spell to choose. Giving ras bigby7 would be overpowered I think, as bigby7 is most likely the best bigby for pvp in the game. Combination of unlimited bigby, breach, high ac, good spot and spell immunity is a nasty one. I don't know what spell would be good replacement to ice storms. Maybe some that can do some dmg.

Re: Rakshasa nerf
if you give them dismissal it would set that shape as THE mage killer in groups...only a few spells even hit this shape to being with.

Re: Rakshasa nerf
Dagger switch is certainly a plus.. thank you...
Dissmissal would seam to fall into the Rak range of expertise..
Would Melfs acid arrow even be worth use, worked like icestorm was where it took shift and druid lvls into account, couldnt be maxed or empowered and cant hit a toon with more than one at a time, preventing spam.

You can spam it, but it doesn't do enough damage to be worth it .Shadowalker wrote:Dagger switch is certainly a plus.. thank you...

Re: Rakshasa nerf
I liked the option of having an offensive spell before. Melfs would be a spell option I could be ok with. Not too damaging, but it is worth enough to use.

TBH, you're beating beating a dead horse to death. You should really just let it go.TheEdge wrote:
