Job bonuses and ability scores

I'm sure I know what answer will be to this question, but I want to ask before I delevel my toon three levels. The ability score bonuses from jobs does not count toward base stats and is not counted in prerequisites for for feats, right? (I mean they show up green, so I figure that's the answer) Thanks.

Its a magic bonus.

Okay, so doesn't count toward prereqs. I'm going to delevel. I guess there's no really fast way to do that? Just die like a hundred times?

Crafting and dying.

You need to die 10x per level or something. Maybe 20x.

Death costs 50 xp per level, each level takes 1000 xp per level to get to the next level. Therefore, it is roughly 20x deaths to lose one level. Crafting is a faster way to lose xp.

crafting healing potions is a good way to delvl.. atleast you turn all that xp into something you can use later

Job stat boosts do not count toward feats.

If you can find mobs near a spawn point you can bind to, you can be pretty efficient. I've used Evenshire, I've seen someone using the Inn in Frostdale (alka! fighting in FD! For shame! :P) The problem is you have to become hostile to those mobs, and if you kill one you satay hostile - and even if you attack them enough without killiing you stay hostile.

Crafting pots and scrolls is a great way to burn xp, otherwise. Or even crafting something else - take apprentice level, make stuff, and sell it. I think you actually make gold on the deal (which you lose when you die to delevel :P)

FD isn't possible anymore. It's all peaceful there now.

It would take forever for wolves and bears to kill this guy, even naked. The quickest way I found is I just bound at the council hall in Melencia, walk across the hall to the nexus portal, run in and get killed, respawn back in the hall, repeat. I dropped down two levels last night. I'll get down to 32 tonight and start building up again.

The best place is in the goblin hut, with some cheese you can force the double respawn XP loss bug.

Oh, actually Eastern Outpost is good for NC/TC - you can run to the Disciples, and they hit pretty hard when you're nekkid
