You Have Been Booted

I am hoping someone can help me.

- I have 2 copies of NWN Diamond
- I installed both on diffrent machines
- I have made sure the NWNcdkey.ini file on both machines have the proper CD keys
- I have edited the Client Port field on one of the machines
- One machine says Client Port=5120 and the other says Client Port=5121
- I did not edit the Game port field. This says Game Port=5121 on both machines

Note: This is my first attempt at dual logging. I have never dual logged before.

- Do I need to cfreate 2 diffrent Game Spy accounts?
- Originally, I installed the same game on both machines and I was able to start each gaem individually with no issues. Someone then told me that to dual log I need to have 2 sperate games with 2 seperate CD keys. I then bought a 2nd copy of the game and changed the INI file to represent the 2nd CD keys

- Now I cannot login to the new machine at all let alone dual log.

Can anyone help?

TY, that did work but now I have a follow-up question

Is there anyway that I can have access to all the characters that I created under my Original GameSpy account on both machines at the same time?

When I create the new GameSpy account, I am forced to create a brand new character (as there are none created with this profile yet)

Anyway, I am afraid I already know the answer to this question but I figured I should ask anyway

/disablesecurity

Type that in your chat box when you load your original toon on your original account on your original CD key

then repeat for your secondary...

You'll need to do this with every character if you wanna load them with a different CD key.

I am getting a little closer

- I launched every single toon I have created on my original machine
- I typed /disablesecurity in the Talk line for every single toon
- I got the message "CD key security disabled for this character"
- I used my diary to save to be save
- I then exited and repeated for every single character
- I then launched one of my characters on my original machine
- I then tried my 2nd machine and tried lajunching a diffrent character
- I logged into GameSpy OK
- I doubleclicked on Neversummer 4 and got a diffrent message this time:
"Server Found. Attempting to Login
Connection to Server Has failed
Connection Error: Your Player Name Is Already in Use"

Any ideas what I must be doing wrong. I really do appreciate the help

u cannot run the same account on 2 different machines at the same time, you can only run two different accounts

you will have to have atleast two diffrent login accounts.. and login with a different account than your other machine is curently running.. if all your current toons are under the one login.. your have to start a new toon under a new login and build it up to play two toons at once.

If you've got a dual logging setup, then its nice and easy to level 2 toons at once, or so I hear, so you should have no problems doubling the rate of the rest of us in TSS at levelling
