Heh, it would be a surprise if Moon doesn't win it, he is always on top.

Btw. I think we proved that we weren't coordinating anything with DD or MA against RK. Only once I got into a pursuing party of a running DD out of RK. Well, I had to fight for my life, naturally :).

I too agree that something should be done about the heal pot abuse. When I was hitting the LA cradle, and outnumbered, I was appalled by the massive pot chugging in there. If players can't build properly then they shouldn't be able to hide behind several stacks of heal potions in order to gank a relic.

Other than that one display of poor play, the rest of heat 2 was extremely fun...
and I think I was able to put my name in for MVP for NC as I scored them 2 points unwillingly. (good ambushing and defense NC)

I understand the convention on chugging pots, it is not a rule though.
I particularly like the trans, and shotgun a pot before your pursuer can see you. " who me?... chug!!, no , no I have regen gear".

I don't chug because I honour the convention. All you rpg types will certainly appreciate the "Death before dishonour!" sentiment... if you are fighting someone who plays that game then you need to make the decision too.

Also...
I too have been booted from parties for having "tagged toons". I'll party with anyone who is not trying to play my toon for me. Grow up! It's a game!

Moon is a lady and Nyeleni been sniffing too much sap.

Have to agree with the healing post. Ever since my first pvp here, when JP kindly suggested that chuging was dishonnerable, ive made sure not to play foul. Foolishly expecting that all the local vetrens with years under thier belt in PvP would do like wise. My hats of to all those that do fight with honnor. And to the sad pathertic wretches that must chug to sastify thier ego, may your nostrils be filled with the buzz of a thousand mostquitos trying to suck the sap from your brain.

Event itself a blast, many thanks to Gorm, Bhaal, Brandobaris and all the noble enemies who fought with tennacity and honnor.

Heh, I thought Eldaquen, Glory and me were the only "girls" in TSS. And we got a new addition lately with her husband. I always thought Moon to be a guy who liked to play gals. My bad :D.

Regarding chugging, I haven't seen any of this. But then again, we were usually fighting in clusters, and it's hard to do it there.

Oh lord here we go with "this is hard for me, please nerf it".

1st heal kits then DR on some of the better DR builds and next up is pots eh? Scrolls if you can suck those in as well..

You people will not be happy till the whole server is nothing but clerics and monks. You think chugging pots is an advantage? F'n chug yourselves and stop whining like anyone is doing something you can't. Hell if it gets bad enough maybe people will occasionally play STR builds instead of DEX on occasion... just so they can carry more pots.

Not all "problems" need to be solved by begging the DMs to fix it for you.

You mean the Dms can't do anything about my hay fever? My nose is stopped up so my whining will be especially nasally. That should help, I'll get on teamspeak. I'll see what I can do about NC rogues, as well.

Was good fun last night. I killed that Reaver hipser - yay! (full disclosure, he got me at least twice to my once, but I think i got his number now, we'll see :P) Very exciting, should be a tough one tonight. Good luck all and good hunting.

Right back at you. If you need heal pots, greater restore scrolls or any other not natural spells on your char in order to survive, you are having hard times with the game. And just be glad the game keeps evolving. I'm sure I wouldn't be playing anymore if it was the same since beta.

As much as I would like to see no chugging of pots or scrolls in PvP I don't think its really something the devs can do with out making PvM almost imposable.

Rainswept we could all chug but if everyone chugged PvP would be very boring as no one would die they would just run around chugging and chugging when they got close to death and everyone would loose interest in it.

Back to the event, its been good fun with some crazy fights.

we already made chugging a bit harder once...but i think it might have been to conservative considering the amount of potions ppl will down just to stay alive.

btw, who whined about kits and dr till it got nerfed?

I remember fighting a dragon from possibly AO or RK and spamming cats grace pots to match their heal pots. I got a tell asking why I'm spamming healing pots :). That, to me, defines the pot chuggging experience.

One of these days I'm going to rebuild that toon for PVP. He was my 1st 40 and really designed for me to be able to explore the server. I just loathe the idea of another ecl3 at the moment.

IDK who you were on last night, Froggy. I got the distinct impression someone other than Shamed was running Judgement. Who was it that called me a "little bugger"? lol.

Yup, that was somebody else. But unless he wants to come forward, I won't disclose who it is :).

I have my assumptions, but it doesn't matter. I was just intrigued that I could figure out which toon was the normal player and which was the substitute (presuming it was Shamed playing Mcninja and Crow) . People play in different ways.
