Here is the "awsome" build Mining Monk has been whining about. Have a look, I am sure many of you will see the flaws and math problems.
You were wrong, just deal with it. Talking smack on IRC won't make your build any better.

He was whining how? Was this a build he was trying to foist off as overpowered? Or was there some other point he was trying to make?

EDIT: The starting stats are incorrect without books, but you can achieve the important (str, dex, wis) endstats with +2 books and some jugglin, take two points outta con and add 2 points to intel maybe somethin' like that

He bet he could build a 70 AB/ 80 AC scyther in ao/rk. I bet he couldn't, this is him trying to prove it. I told him he was wrong on his numbers, he disagreed, so I posted this so he could see others realize it doesn't add up. That simple.

there's several things that arent correct, BAB is wrong, i'm not gonna tear it apart or whatnot
but yeah, Barbarians just took a nerf hit i noticed, with all the bigger fish to fry just seems funny
makes me laugh, anything you do to one toon will just make another i have stronger

This was actually my build. 100% buildable in AO for all the naysayers.

The starting stats are correct, and it does use 6 +4 books (see the first level when all the stats go up by 4). It requires you do de-level to level 1 after using all 6 books.

I assure you that the math is right. I realize that it is flawed (lots of short-terms buffs needed to get those scores, and a full load of +4 books), I just wanted to make sure it hit 70 ab and 80 ac without using a single item or outside buff so you wouldn't have grounds for complaint. Too bad I didn't anticipate outright denial.

You could get that ab and ac for 9 rounds if you do your buffs in the right order. And seriously, am I going to give you all a rock solid 70 ab 80 ac scyther? nah, I keep stuff like that to myself.

and how the crap is the bab wrong? 7 cleric 9 fighter 4 monk pre-epic = 17 bab, and 10 bab from epic levels = 27 bab. That number came straight out of the CBC spread sheet.

Deny all you want, but you owe a +2 book. stuff like "this is wrong in so many ways" doesn't prove a thing, it just shows that you assume it is wrong because you don't believe it is possible in the first place, and you haven't actually looked at it.

You guys are so funny it's unreal. For being such an uber builder Rufio maybe you should learn what stacks and what doesn't. The absolute best part is the more you claim it is right the dumber you look. Even if the numbers worked, which they don't, I also told him to make it. Keep going though, plead your case, I know many are entertained by this. I am sure should you ever make a real point a DM will notify me. Nice try though guys. Hahahahahahahahaha.
