When you hit the screen button, they're saved as a TGA (In the screenshots folder for your NWN folder). http://paint.net/ Download the program here and open the TGAs into it. You can then save the TGAs as jpegs for uploading.

or you can use GIMP and save them as anything you want it works like Photoshop.

what shamed said. pasting a screen into paint doesn't work for anyone when nwn is full screen. Nwn is kind enough to save you the trouble of ever having to open paint to save an image, and you can take as many screens as you want. TGA files can be opened in programs like photoshop too.

i downloaded gimp and it works great, thanks kromix, seems like a bunch of my screenshots didnt work though theres gaps through my collection, wish i had the one of chuck norris roundhousing a group of dorfs

Irfanview works great. The Print Screen button is "supposed" to take a screen shot of what you are doing and save it in the Screenshot folder within Neverwinter Nights folder. The only problem is the Print Screen button doesn't always take the picture - it will fail from time to time. Your best indicator that it worked is when you see a momentary freeze in some animation on your screen after pressing the button. It doesn't work 100% of the time, so take multiple screen shots and then sort them by date in your Screenshot folder. The files will be saved with a .tga (Targa) format. Use Irfanview to convert them, crop them, etc. in JPEG format.

I speak from experience on this one. DMs screenshot everything.

I always run NWN in windowed mode since I sometimes am in IRC at the same or am messing with scripts, etc... win7 and some vista versions come with the Snipping Tool which can be used for screenshots... a lot easier since you don't have to install anything and it saves as PNG, GIF, or JPEG
