I am offering this thread to post your ideas and wants for any and all events to be held new years eve. I will do my best to fullfill all of them as well as I can. this of course does not include book givaways or instant lvl's

Regular DM supervised runs into the more epic / end game areas of the realm.

Some of us have been playing for quite some time and have yet to experience this part of neversummer, so this would be appreciated.

How about this:

Elvin the potion seller has been kidnapped by the Black Lord! He is sick and tired of this always "blue" merchant keeping everyone alive who ventures into his Negative Plane looking for that ubiquitous "xp" nonsense. People should only feel pain and take damage, none of this healing nonsense.

The ONLY way he will give Elvin back is if the weapon of his most hated rival, the White Lord, is given to him in tribute. The fresh blood left on it from it's forceful removal from the White Lord's cold dead hands must be present in order to actually release the prisoner. (Read: no cheating and just showing up with a scythe from your inventory, must kill White Lord first...)

A word of advise, the Black Lord is not known to be the most trustworthy of deal makers....

It was a great event, I really enjoyed! Did we save Elvin in the end?

Also, since I was the party looter and I'm writing this because I've been getting tells accusing me that I was withholding loot from that trip and that I am a cheater, so I want to say something about hat. I do not do things like that. The swords were in the boxes with my healing pots and I did not see them until I talked to a DM who could point me where they are. In fact, I did not want to be looter when we started (I nominated Insomnia), but Britney was the only str based toon with some inventory space.

I make full healing pots on my cleric toon and transfer them in the box to Britney Spears, so I had several boxes full of them for this trip. I also had around around two pages of boxes I got from another player and Gorm for the trip. I kept my healing boxes on separate inventory page so I can access them faster. In the end, some items ended in wrong boxes on the wrong page.

The problem is that among those items were two special swords (+7 rapiers) and a bow which are apparently a rare drop so some ppl were angry with me.

However, for those who joined us late (and they are the ones accusing me) the fact is that we were rolling for equipment in HoD, after we finished with Posi plane, and before bunch of PwnD ppl joined. Swords with weird names were on the ground during the first roll in HoD and that is as much as I remember about them. I rolled 96 and was choosing _FIRST_. I could have taken a sword or a bow, but I was not interested because I don't have a toon to use them. So, I took something that a toon I am working on can use, an armor. About the bow, it was called "bow of 2010" or something like that and it was apparently a death bow which makes it a big deal. Later, I was also accused of withholding that item too. Well, someone took it in the first roll, not me. Don't know who because after I took my armor I took the portal to nexus, as that was the deal.

After the roll in HoD we went to Neg plane and I picked up the remaining items in HoD quickly. At that moment, my inventory was a mess because I tried to keep up with other people who were rushing to the Neg plane. In neg plane I tried to fix my inventory the best I could while fighting and dieing at the same time. In the end, bunch of items that were left in HoD ended in the wrong boxes. And that is the story.

Reputation is a thing that you can loose even if you don't have it, and yesterday I lost it for sure no matter what you believe. I was not trying to withhold any loot. If I wanted the sword or the bow, I would have taken one during the first roll. I was interested in an armor.

In any way, I am not looting in the future in parties like these.

Lastly, I am also asking everyone to stop sending me in-game tells about this thing because I said all here.
Still, event was a blast!

I actually believe you, Brit, the event was such a huge mess, its no wonder your inventory was affected by it. Im still surprized we survived it with some elements wanting to kill the own party.

I am not worried about it at all and I wrote the story for the damn event! It's just loot people, there is always more, and it's really not that hard to get. I left a little bit early and ended up only getting one decent loot item out of it all, I couldn't care less because it was so much fun. Don't sweat it that "some people may be mad", I know dm's were watching loot, nobody got screwed over. Thanks for taking the responsibility for carrying, I know it's a pain. It was a great time all!

And about saving Elvin, not sure, turned into a drunken brawl at the end rofl

Oh, and for the record, the "PWnD who showed up later" part, we were there the whole time lol.

I may or may not have been hellballing my a$$ off during that, may or may not have been ice storming my a$$ off, I admit to nothing!! At least I cast a lot of mass heals...

Anyone caught whining during a DM event about not enough exp, not enough loot, too many deaths, it being too hard, not having a bard, no having good enough buffs etc. should be banned for ruining my fun.

*edit* I wasn't actually at the event, due to real life festivities, but I do still have a lot of fun at these, it has just always bugged me.
