Smiters kill PM's so easy and the only reason you don't see a lot of those around is because they are 1 trick pony and MA isn't serious treath to NC atm.

Once again you have no idea what your talking about. This is getting painful but i spose i will explain it once again. I can push bolgs ac to 104. Wiff away and wish for 20's. Try again......

That smiter would be completely worthless in most situations anyway.

I will admit that i was wrong, i think there is a pdk build that would work, but it would be built specifically to kill an evil char. Like Daltion said it would be a one trick pony.

I got a dollar says you guys nerf them as soon as they are done. First group should be done in a few days. Final stand token is glitchy as well, most of the time it doenst do anything and i know there is a time limmit, i only use it once per reset when i think of it, just an fyi

We didnt look past them, but after clc/cot nerfs monthly i was thinking, why make one and have it nerfed into oblivion after i get to 40. We dont have the time to make 40's and have them become worthless, although it still happends far too often. Still waiting on the WoF "fix", right after AO jobs right?

Yeah the 2nd cleric nerfageddon + CoT nerfs, compounded by all the "We Love Mages" boosts, made us think thrice about building anything else in NC.
What you all can't put that together? We quit building in NC right after the CoT nerf because it just didn't make sense to build something that people are goin to cry about how powerful PDK's are. I never wanted to say anything about our feelings that PDK's are goin to get nerfed, because why cut off your nose to spite your face. BUT I did hope that someone else who could afford to build a toon and get it nerfed would do it, and then we could build post-nerf. That and we always liked the idea of SyN, mages were very powerful, so we went back to that. But as stated SyN hasn't matured yet, we build slow, and our pure fighter and pure bard left the server lol. We just don't have the time that others do to build toons quickly. I have a grand total of 4 40's and my wife is quite convinced (and she's right) that I spend far too much time playing this game .

Anyway, no one built one, that was worth nerfing anyway, and now people are talkin' smack so yeah, you win, we're building them now. I'd still put two well played sorcerors against a 4 person NC party with a cleric a bard a pdk build and a cot build any day of the week and twice on tuesday .

Arcanes can PvP great but the first misstep is usually enough to get you killed. To be more survivable, you're going to be less good at doing the arcane spell-casting stuff (the fact that caster levels don't matter enough is all Flailer's fault ). A balanced NC party of 4 v. 2 whatever arcane builds...it might be tough to put the 2 down, but they shouldn't get wiped.

Taking on the dex rogue pm solo can be rough with what NC can bring (Bolg can be one shotted no save in at least two ways, and no, I'm not going to tell you what they are.) Arcane or druid is better for saying I don't care if your ac is 200, you're still dead...the stronger NC builds everyone else wants nerfed tend to need to make attack rolls.
