Heh, don't judge NC on one player alone. As we don't judge all gods on one's action either. Otoh, we rather have WOF fixed soon, but trickery domain is appreciated - in some time I guess.

So what if we can make rogue-like clerics with 120+ hide and ms. Access to rogue abilities was only part of NC's problem. We've done the parity issue to death though so much so that I'm completely disgusted with myself for even voicing it here.

If I was drunk I wouldn't have said anything.

This was a blatant attempt to appease us cuz it seems that the staff folded like cheap K-Mart Lawn chairs on the other issues. Take it back or don't take it back, the point is it doesn't really matter.

You tweak my nerves on what I feel is just and unjust and I'm gonna criticize you for it. Maybe its not okay for the playerbase to use the same kind of blunt force wit like 'tep.

maybe we aren't backwards helping to make you feel better at night. maybe we're helping you in the future and you don't know it. maybe it was already discussed in the blindness cry fest that wof is probably going to get a redo. maybe NC has some of the most powerful builds on the mod. maybe we just don't like do gooders. maybe i don't care about how much you guys cry because the world is so unfair to you.

there are a whole lot of maybe's in there....pick the one thats your favorite and let that be your reason ;)

I'm slow, what part of rouge dos trickery domain give? A short lasting boost to some skills? No evasion, no tumble, no unchany dodge(my main reasons for taking rouge).

if you have 40 cha, it wil last for 2 turns(20 rounds), thats.... Actualy, make a hiding imploder.... lol, I'm gona blow a casket when you run around a corner and disaperes :p

'tep the problem with this change is that I'd rather decisions were made based on principle. Where was the principle when trickery was first taken away and we argued that NC didn't have access to any rogue like abilities before? You're "giving" us something we felt was supposed to be there in the first place. What really looks bad is that this "gift" comes after a series of heated discussions that some of us in NC/TC came out on the wrong side of. So instead of getting trickery because NC should have it on principle, you make it look and feel like charity. I'd respect you more if you just told us to suck it up like you normally do.

The blindness "cryfest" as you call it is completely warranted. Lets seriously analyze the situation. The devs are trying to fix an engine fault hard coded into the game with scripts. You've already got faulty code and now you're going to compound the problem by trying to script in changes. You're just creating more bugs.

Worse, just like with HiPS, we've all grown use to playing with these problems and built for it or around it. And then you yank the floor out and deride us for asking why. That's why there's a huge "cryfest" about blindness.

The point is make decisions and stick with them because you believe in them. Don't do it out of charity or sympathy.

The duration is (5+cha mod)*turn, which is long enough for most of clrs
Skill boost is like 1+lvl/2
