lvl40 craft item

i find some lvl40 craft item in change log, but my friends told me that they can't be crafted now.
may i craft it when i hit lvl40? and i have upgrate my belt twice, do i have to craft a new one to upgrate it at lvl40?

Twice upgraded resp. lvl30 is the highest you can get with crafted items atm. And not all items can be upgraded.

There's no such thing as a level 40 only use crafted item.

That would be neat if there was level 40 crafted gear. Infact I personaly think that crafted gear should be more sought after, and the way to do that is to make it the best gear on the server.

So lets bump up the crafted stat's and make gear crafting go all the way to 40!

It already is some of the best gear on the server.

Some of the gear is nice, but the armor, weapons, ammunition and such is not up to equipment that drops regularly at lvl 30. Some of the crafted items need a bit of a make over to be better than the standard drops in the game.

I agree. Some way to combine trapping with ammo crafting could yield ammo with elemental damages which would help greatly.

As you said armor and weapons both need work, also stated, we have a new dev..... Lets point him in the right direction... or is it her, one should never assume.

Something like adding elemental damage to weapons or ammo would be very nice (fletchers in particular seem very underused). I thought I remembered a thread about this from when crafting upgrades were first installed, and the consensus from the community was that the L40 stuff was too powerful and that 'ready' access to +10 stat gear (if memory serves me) would be unbalanced "Let's not make this NS3", I seem to recall; tried finding it but couldn't, search is not my friend; mgrjebbo, you were in that discussion, I think, if you remember. Granted, this was from before the newer high-level areas, so that may not be an issue now.

I'm personally not that unhappy with the status quo. Right now, there is some very nice crafted gear, which serves in most cases. The L30 heavy plate, for instance, is essentially IA with weight reduction; having all damage types represented would be nice, but not a killer. Fletchers seem underrepresented.

The really good stuff only drops after a fight with a tough monster, or as a very special, very rare reward from a DM (I actually can't remember the last time I had that opportunity, though, certainly not since the wipe). Seems appropriate to me.

One last point - if +8 weapons start getting common, I (respectfully) want CoT unnerfed!! Praise Torm!

The enchantment bonus on weapons should be capped at nothing greater than +6 and armor bonus's should be capped a +4. Robes should offer only AC as I can understand light material making you more manuverable however they should offer no damage resistance because they are after all just cloth... and i dont want to hear the pitly crap about how they are *waves his hands in the air trying to imitate the panzy making this stupid argument*, magicaly enchanted so they can be as tough as iron. Now magicaly enchanting robes to offer elemental resistance i can understand, but they should never permanently offer the same damage reduction as a suit of Full Plate armor.

Now that all being said, it will never happen with the uber gear mongering, mule having, meta gaming, venge logging cry babies that want their +50 NS3.5 weapons running all over our fair NS4.

Ok on a serious note, can we make fletching better? They really really stink right now and are an utter waste.
