Latest Post. I went to the monastary and even though the sign told me that it was increasingly difficult to progress my craft, I still went ahead and did the tailor crafting. Just as Alkapwn had mentioned, I spent the gold and xp to get to the next level and I dinged Artisan and the sign is back to normal and I have 7 days to wait before attempting Master Artisan. Thank you everyone for you replies and posts, Most informative.

How do you go about upgrading an item? Do i need to put it into the station when i select upgrade previously crafted item?

if you want to upgrade a crafted item that that particular toon has crafted, click on the crafting piece (either a loom, stack of leather or forges for the smithies) and select the "upgrade item" option after the Master Artisan selection, then click on the crafting piece again and it will open like a box or chest and then put the desired item up/in. That should do it.

Bump for figuring out where we are on this. Maybe sign just disagrees with the crafting?

ETA: That was easy to find. Missing from one of the skill level checks on the info sign (which unfortunately was not extended when trades were). So easy fix, will creep into the mod soon.
