Trading a Death Bow.

Post by Ade »

Today I was asking for a +2 Book for a Death Bow. A kind individual informed me that the Death Bow was worth much more (I have been killing Death Archers for days now trying to find a Death Rapier and found this instead :x )

So, I guess I'll just put it up for trade here on the forums and post a few of the things I'm looking for:

Death Rapier (obviously, but I'm not really expecting anyone to part with one)
+4 Charisma Book
+4 Strength Book

Feel free to offer other stuff. There's plenty of stuff I don't know about :)

I could use a bit of intervention then, xD

Feel free to move this to the trade forum. My apologies.

I havent fought em post wipe since I havent found a party going there or made a toon that can solo neg yet, but pre wipe, the bow was almost imposible to get since you had to kill em without em switching to mele...

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

Not sure the drops work that way.

The drop rate on the death bow is really really low. It is now a Rare item.

Try it and the floating eyeball will kiss your head off and use the rest as rose fertilizers.

I think this is the 1st time I've seen someone give the impression with there post that there unhappy at finding the wrong +7 weapon.

As for the death rapier it dose not look a lot more potent than the Blade of the Chanter.

You could always keep the bow and make a dexer next to use it.

I'm not UNHAPPY, per se. It's just that I always find stuff that I don't need. :)

And I really don't know if I'll ever have time to make another toon. I have to get my first one perfect before the next one is started. I'm sorta weird like that.

Death Bow/Rapier used to not drop at all...drops were disabled on Death Archers... I think a bug. I fixed the bug a long time ago, but they have a very low drop rate compared to other creatures in the same difficulty planes.

Death Bows are incredibly rare, you shouldn't trade it unless you get something incredibly good, like a +4 book or a Death Rapier. I've been to Neg loads of times and I've only seen a death bow drop twice, a Black Cloth (not the black robe, a black cloth, the robe the death archers wear.) drop once, and never seen a death rapier drop.
