Upon arriving in game I spoke with the ambassadors and headed to The Circle's place. I spoke to Feona, which seemed to work fine, but when I headed over to Calia something went wonky in her conversation. I got bits and pieces of other merchant conversations, from a ferry captain to changing my subrace. Thankfully I could still finish the conversation "normally" and exit.
Thank you! -Can't wait to really get started.

Conversation mix-ups happen as a result of lag - NS usage has been pretty heavy today from what I've seen, server was almost chock full, so unless you know by heart which conversation option numbers to use, it's best to wait until after a reset to make conversations intelligible again

Have also noted jumbled conversations.. even to the extent of the npc mentioning the name of a toon not in the area.
Twig (TSS) - Twig [CLAD] - Twigs -Fury- - SyNfully Rotted Twig - Twig'lee -Down Under- - Twig'zilla
Fergus Glonshire [FoN] - Sakij Lovac [FoN] - Zatharus Rivermoon (TSS) - Bumble (TSS) - Body built for SyN

The merchants, ferrymen, Elvin and all the other NPC's you can have a dialogue with use the same engine.
And like was said earlier when the server experiences heavy lag it does not seem to be able to keep track of which NPC is talking at the time.
Frustrating yes, but an easy solution is to avoid them until a reset by going out and killing all the lowbies you find.

I put the IO in socIOpath!

Thanks for the replies, I didn't know it was such a well-known issue. This is my first character in Neversummer, so, as an unequiped level one...wandering too far from the starter shop would probably mean that I'd be the lowbo being killed! haha
I will def. keep this in mind next time though and avoid all such npcs.
Thanks again.
