Won't work, you get booted and deleted literally as soon as you enter the thunderdome. It's part of the security system to prevent cheaters from entering. We watched it happen during the 1.68 to 1.69 wipe. The entire server was ported into the thunderdome to have one final free for all. Unfortunately everyone was instantly booted and deleted.

I imagine somewhere in the world Zing was chuckling to himself.

One thing I am looking into is how to make a video of TD matches. So keep your fingers crossed, you still might be able to view a match in the future.

xFire is a gamers chat program, however it can record your game play as well. Its a free download that can be found pretty easily with a google search and its recording works pretty well.

There was something in one of the expansions, that allowed you to view a arena match in the Illithid City between two slaves, watched like a movie, but it was random 100% because you could bet on who you thought would win. Not sure if something like that can be done here though.

Yeah I tried xfire's video recording function. Didn't work too well with nwn1 and it forces it to half-size rendering the combat log illegible. Taksi works pretty well and it's open-source. Unfortunately, it doesn't record sound and hasn't seen active development since 2006. But of course there are other ways to record sound, the difficult part would be sync'ing the audio up with the video.

Cely, I wouldnt worry too much about syncing up the sound. Most of us are used to off kilter sound from Godzilla and martial arts flicks. As long as there are no sub-titles we should be great.
