Send forth word to all our outposts to be vigilant for any sign the enemy may strike and find me every able body man strong enough to swing a sword and bring them here at once. By Torm we shall be ready.

And so as the dark clouds rolled across the sky and the alarm bells rang, the City of Daeron once again steeled herself for battle against the undead forces that plague the northern lands. No stranger to the armies of evil the men of the North donned their armor and blades. With prayers for the safety of their family they ventured forth leaving their homes to join the lines.

In one such house a solider was kissing his son goodbye.

“Now boy you listen to me.” He said in a firm but loving voice. You take care of you mother and mind her well else the dragons will send one of their slaves to take you in the night.
“I will father I promise.” The boy replied
Letting a tear slip from her eye his wife hugged him deeply.
“You stay safe Hand.” You come back to me in once piece or I’ll have your hide. Don’t be a hero just do your part. Paladin doesn’t need a hero he needs a father.
With a loving kiss he turned and was gone, disappearing in the crowd of men headed to the gates.

This is madness. Having just arrived in this city through some sort of demonic magic portal you feel little draw to fight for her, but you know what is right and you realize you too will be needed. Collecting what little gear you have with your head down, you reluctantly start weaving through the crowd forcing your way towards Daeron’s head quarters. You will do your part. You will fight for the light, and if you have anything to say about it the light will be victorious.

Event Date- Saturday Jan, 31st

Event Time- 12:noon Pacific 3pm Easter

Event Details- The defense of Daeron and the destruction of the Undead Hordes.

The first 10 level 1 character to send a tell to “Hand of Light” when the event start is announced over shout shall be invited to join. Further Instructions will be announced through party. Use this to get that NC build you always wanted to start going.
Have it ready, level 1, and in Daeron this Saturday.

Thank you to Kim, Brandobaris, Corellon Larethian for the wonderful production they made out of this event. You make the server a more enjoyable place to spend some free time. It went very smoothly and i think it was very much enjoyed by all who participated.

Thanks also for those players that decided to participate, you conducted yourselves well and didnt act like a bunch of twits, althought Jester couldnt shop any slower if he tryed...lol

Well I don't know who deserves credit for the event, but I'm pretty sure there's much to be shared tween the DM's and jebbo. Thank you so much for investing the time and energy to get this thing up and running and for having the patience with us and those lazy shiftless shopkeeps to see it through!
