FYI, Celestia and Abyss just got moved to new locations. This is to fit in with Flailer's (the NS4 planar mastermind) vision of where the planes are located. The idea is for the planes to be connected together, kind of like a ladder, where Abyss is the very lowest of planes, and Celestia is the very highest.

This will be very cool! I'm really glad you guys are still working stuff. You're doing a fantastic job. I know this looks like a "big smoochy kiss up" but seriously, as a group we don't say thanks enough and the new areas are awesome.

Excellent work.

One suggestion, though...perhaps it would be good to have a "respite" room between White Lord's room and the first room of Celestia, since the mobs there are crushingly powerful. A retreat from the first room of Celestia only leads back to a potentially equally dangerous battle with Aoas, Lumi Paladins, and the like. I know it is supposed to be difficult, but I don't think allowing for a retreat makes Celestia itself any less difficult. It simply speeds up wipe recovery time so that teams can make more attempts.

I like this Planar "ladder" idea, though. Keep it up!

I think that is a good idea actually. We had a party of 10 (which we were suggested to get no more than that) last night that went into celestia, and got completely wiped out three times. I think I was more or less the further adventurer out in celestia and the entire room (nearly) was dragged on us. We ended up having to fight either an archangel and a trumpet archon or two archangels at once (not counting other mobs) which is nearly impossible since both those mobs about once every 4 rounds KD half the party on top of the 150-200 divine damage it deals to EVERYONE.

It almost seems as though large parties don't do well... I've seen parties of 2 at least clear the first 2 areas carefully. But then I've seen a party of 14 get wiped out in the very beginning... in fact I have a screenshot of it! :lol:

Yup Celestia is really hard, and ty for implementing the new areas.

But could we get a connection from Posi to Air (just an example) too? That would really connect all planes.

No, all planes should be connected to one other plane directly, and one through the nexus. I'll be doing some connection work on them. We're missing two planes, however. You may notice that Dwarf Home is connected to both Plane of Fire and Plane of Water... its not really supposed to be connected to Plane of Water, but because we're missing two planes now, its "temporarily" been connected.

You should be able go down to the Abyss, defeat it, and work your way all the way up to Celestia, going through every plane and nexus without ever entering the main land of Atheria (sounds like an event). The plane system has never been completed since the devs who did much of the original planes (like Flailer) left to work on NS5. So the NC and LA nexuses are missing planes.
