isn't recieving any bonus to heal skill upon activation of the pure class token
it's supposed to be level + 7 according to the token itself, I've checked the changelog and not seen any mention of the bonus being removed or changed
is anyone else having this problem ?

Have you watched the combat og when you use a kit? I had a purebarb prewipe, and he coulde keep himself healed prety well with kits, but I cant remember actualy looking at the skill to see if it where boosted :/

Why would I want to count 12 hours twice? I’m perfectly capable of counting to 24, and while we’re at it, can someone go shoot named time zones. GMT+x is all we need!

yeah
I was in dwarves with him earlier he was only getting 43+roll (wich is skill+gear)
normally when it's working there's an icon that pops up for "increased skill" but not anymore.
DM kim replaced the token to see if the token itself was dodgy and it made no difference.
the bonus is definitely not being applied.

Yup. Removed.... pure fighters too. It was too cheesey... forgot to update the changelog about that one.

was greatest rage +6 to will saves changed also? i'm getting the +8 str/con, but will remains at +4. is it supposed to be automatic with rage, or are you meant to activate greatest rage via a token?

I used that a lot.
and pretty much only in PVE.
I really disagree with this change.
there are soooo many things that actually are cheesey, this really isn't one of them.
ohh well.
just goes to show ya, when building a character dont depend on anything, I mean, a heal skill bonus, you'd think that was a sure thing.
although I must admit, compared to the removal of truesight from dragon-form this is a small change.
that whole faction pretty much depended on having that truesight.

It was very cheesy in PvP. I always struggled with barbs chain healing with kits. All that DR + super healkit was truly cheesy. (BTW, I am playing pure fighter so this hurts me too)

I suppose it would be tricky in PVP, I wouldn't know, never used it in that context myself.

I understand we are all human here but ppl are putting alot of time into builds and would be nice to see what is and what isn't.

Pure bonuses were originally intended to be a slight bonus to going pure... I mean, who would make a pure fighter without the bonuses? However, as many of us know, pure bonuses became insanely overpowered... are pure fighters/paladins/barbs still considerably more powerful with bonuses than without? Definitely.
Just removed some of the cheese... you're still welcome to max out your heal skill... heal kits still work fine, just not *quite* as well as they did before... pure fighters/barbs were able to spam heal kits faster than a lot of folks could do damage... I've seen several players attacking a pure barb and they'd still heal faster. Heal kits are hard-coded, so this my solution. This nerf ruins no builds.

heal skill remains useful for a lot of reasons: insanely cheaper than pots, you can get 2 off per round, and they dont bust you out of expertise or other combat modes. a support caster can get good mileage out of them by healing melee party members pets etc. without having to be a cleric, or burning a spell if you are. theres a lot of +heal skill items out there too that will let you get back most of that bonus.
that being said spamming heal kits in pvp is as lame as chugging pots. seems like some folks thought to get around the stigma associated with pot chugging in pvp by moving to heal kits... well they fail to understand why "infinite heal spam" of any kind in pvp sucks.

I wasn't able to kill barb with shifter risen lord at peak of his power if he used heal kits. I was doing something like 90 dmg per hit, with 300+ crits and barb was stil standing up. With minimal items you would max your +50 magical cap on heal skill on a barbarian or a fighter. So you look at 43 (ranks) + 5 (wisdom, yeah 5 ur a fighter!) + 50 (mag cap) + 12 (kit!) = 110. 110 + 1d20 = 111 to 130 twice a round is 222 to 260 a round. Yeah... cheese!
