new epic mage armor giving +12 sheild armor
How does that actually effect things?
Does that mean if you have a +6 sheild on, it will only give +6 ac advantage?

Correct. Whether it's small shield +1, large shield +1 or tower shield + 1, the +1 will not stack. Which is why it's a shield bonus

So that means if you have a Tower Shield on and use Epic Mage armor you get 3 from Tower and 12 from Mage Armor... totaling 15 AC?
