Are they also dependent on alignment too? I also read that if you don't choose a Diety at Character creation one will be appointemnt to by the powers that be:
"Even if you do not choose a specific deity, you will still have one defined for your character based on faction. In this list the highlighted deity will be the default for that faction.

Although the God Chart doesn't seem to be working at the moment. During character creation I didn't choose a Deity. I used me diary in game to see which one had been assigned to my charcter, but it just said that I hadn't picked on. I believe I remember someone saying you only have 1 chance to pick a deity, and thats at Character creation.
