Chosen deity

I prayed at the shrine of a deity and now it appears to be my chosen deity. Is there any way to undo that? I ask because now my darkfire is cold damage and I really don't like that for multiple reasons. If it is impossible to undo I will have to remake a char and that would be an annoyance since it is already my 3rd attempt at this char after choosing wrong race and domain.

It is possible to undo this. See me in game.

I will warn you though, atheists are disliked by the gods, especially those who forsake their worship. You will loose any benefits you might have gained as a worshiper, permanently.

Before you do this, consider that cold damage does affect the undead.

Done, thanks. And it wasn't damage to undead that was my problem, but the fact that I will be dual wielding kukris, and best ones (actually all kukris that i know of) already have ice damage on them.

is the only way to change your deity in game through those shrines? deity's were never important in the past on character creation so none of my toons have them...but now that they have somewhat of an impact itd be nice to put "Tiamat" in there

Well if you pray loud and often enough i have noticed the shrines kind of find you....
