I just added a Mumble server as well... I'm not completely sold on it yet, but it has several very cool features.

- Open Source Software
- ALL traffic is encrypted via SSL
- Data is encrypted with AES256
- Voice is encrypted with AES128
- Native Windows and Linux Clients
- Linux Client uses ALSA (TeamSpeak uses OSS)
- Text to Speech like Ventrilo
- Comprehensive mic setup (something that TeamSpeak lacks)
- No connection limits (the free Ventrilo license limits you to 8 connections)
- Better channel hierarchy
- Some other things I can't remember at the moment

Like I said, I'm not completely sold on it yet. It's not quite as polished or user friendly as TeamSpeak or Ventrilo. I'm going to run it in parallel with TeamSpeak so people can poke at it. If people feel strongly about TeamSpeak or Mumble one way or another we can switch.

Awesome Malik! Btw, the Mumble server had some client side usability issues that were really annoying so I think we're going to stick with TeamSpeak for now.

I've logged into the TS server and idled in the tLB channel for 10 hours and only saw 1 or 2 people pop in (from the log)... I'm using another server mostly, and have used TS in the past with other games to GREAT effect -- especially in tournaments.

FYI, I logged in and there was 7 people in... so its definitely being used... mostly LA folk right now. Definitely an advantage if you're not already using some sort of voice speak system.

Well some of us NC peeps got tired of talkin to ourselves, and the Brethren personnel took pity on us and let me and burrahobbit in to their chat room . Even had Re in there the other night hehehe. Great times.

I couldn't figure out a way to let users reset their own password, I would've had to set one for you. So I deleted your account so you can self register again with your own super secret password. After you self register, myself or one of the Devs or DMs will have to make you a CLAD channel admin again. Also, I cleared the CLAD channel password for you.

I may have set it up, but I'm not sure. I know I'm an admin (last I checked), but I dont think I set up a password. If I did, I have a good guess what it would be. Let me know...

I think its a great addition to be able to speak to others, I used to use Vent for other games... including ones like CS that already had voice chat. It makes the game alot more involved and entertaining. Thanks alot Cely!

This is great. It definitely adds another entire dimension to the game. I use it constantly now that i've found it.

Seemly everynight there are between 5 and 12 of us in the lobby. From many different factions. We use it while partying together and raiding against each other. Tons of fun either way. Everyone should do it.
