How about the "Dancing" Weapons? You activate and it leaps out of your hand and fights for 10 rounds as a "summon" or "henchman". If killed, or when time runs out, falls to the ground in "unidentified" mode. Grab it quick before someone else does
Cloak of the Bat or Arachnid cloak (+2 dodge, transform 1/day into bat or giant spider)
Elemental pits on each plane where weapons can be "dipped" into the raw element and gain additional damage. If that's unbalanced, then:
1) You can change the element type, but only if an element type alreayd exists on a weapon.
AND/OR
2) There is a chance the weapon is destroyed instead of being imbued.
OR
Any combination of the above.
Cloak of the Spy- One-use item that that makes you "Neutral" to an enemy faction. Or make permanent. Can make it vanish if approach within 3 screens of relic. Or make it vanish if relic is touched. If fancy, use claok, target enemy, and temporarily receive that faction.
Like the Deck of many things, too.
