Relic war (spammers and flamers please check another thread)

There were 8 in the initial raid the other night, with three late comers for a total of 11 against 6. Still badly outnumbered just not 15 to 6. If we would have had 15 I'm fairly confident (though not certain) we could have secured the cradle and taken them all at once. As it was the initial raid wasn't even to raid, it was just to kill you. But then we had taken the cradle for a bit so we thought 'what the hay' and decided to try and take some. Otherwise in actuality the operation as a raid to take relics was a complete and utter failure as you scored at least three recaps (that I can remember might have been more) for the three that we got out, one of which was our own so didn't count for scoring.

Considering the event as whole, it was a good time and LA had imho secured the lead. The only way anyone might have retaken the lead was if you were silly (translation-retarded) and raided NC outnumbered and outgunned and gave us a ton of recaps. You are not silly so I don't think that would have happened.

I was certain that the DM's were going to give you the victory but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth either . Call the first event a warm up, an ex-eval (exercise evaluation), where tactics get firmed up and teams learn better how to play together.

There were several reasons for running the Defenders of the Relic event, again.

One of which, was to get the Defenders of the Relic statue moved to a more appropiate location. The power of the factions ebb and flow, as you all know.

We are all disappointed that Prime died hard, however it would not be right to just declare a winner with so many days in the event left to play out.

I appreciate all the hard work you players put into winning the event.

When Prime comes back up, we'll see where we are at and go from there.

If is indeed a numbers game and there is no strategy involved, then how in the heck did RK win the last one? I do not believe RK ever has had the *numbers*. Numbers may win this thing, but in the end it all boils down to just plain hard work.

And, like The Hoss said earlier, we didn't come down there to get relics. We came down to scrap with you, and scrap we did. Pulling a couple relics was just a bonus. If we'd been "in it to win it", so to speak, we would have been a lot more careful about giving you guys easy points with recaps.

Don't know where ya got your info from but AO were at more than 1 . I stole 2 caps one morning when the server population was about 4 hehe. Only to have them stolen straight off me by Burrahobbit. And I know Riley Freeman of AO capped a few anyway. I'm not saying we had any chance. Just that those scores don't look very accurate. I know SL had more too.

Riley Freeman couldnt make it past the Judiciary, and you must have capped your own relic and one other = the 1 AO pt. (Capping your own doesnt count on the board).

SL had 1 cap, by [ Shadix ] I think it was.

Whatever though, doesnt matter. At this point I wouldnt be suprised if 1.69 comes out next week and breaks the server so everyone who isn't LA can lose for a 3rd time.
