Dragon Age

Post by cely »

With the GDC underway, I got to thinking about Dragon Age again. BioWare hasn't released very much information other than a) it will have some sort of multiplayer support and b) it will have a toolset.

Assuming that Dragon Age is superior to NWN2 and NWN1 as far as PW support goes, would the Devs consider switching game engines? I understand that this would mean completely abandoning the DnD 3.0/3.5 ruleset/mechanics, but is Neversummer just another homebrew DnD campaign setting or is it an entity unto itself?

I thought about that long ago when I first read about it, and I would be open to a new project except for the fact that all of our limited resources are devoted to NWN5 and NWN2 at the moment.
I dont see recreating nwn in the dragon age setting, but maybe someday we can look at diving into that toolset and making something fun.
