If you want an approximate distance of 40m, make a module in the toolset and lay 20 benches out in a line. Benches are almost exactly 2 meters. There's your rough estimate of 40m.

For a wounded man shall say to his assailant;
"If I die, you are forgiven. If I live, I.. will.. kill you."
Such is the rule, of honor.

Some mobs have visual radius effects, like mummies and ghouls and things. Figure out through the manuals or handbooks what those radii are supposed to be and gauge that against the circle you see on screen around the critters.

If I had a specific case and access to the data at work, I'd give you a better answer, but that should be a good way to go about figuring it out.

ok guys ready for this,
ez way to estimate what x distance is in nwn for your monitor.

step one go to a dark area with a char that cant see in the dark

put on an item that says colored light x feet

that circle will be twice x feet (x * 2)

and there you have a good aproximation of what distance a foot is in nwn
If it says Moki Moki Moki on the Label Label Label your gonna be in Trouble Trouble Trouble!!! :twisted:

stretch your hand, and measure the distance between the top of your middle finger till your elbow, now you have the distance Known as an "EL" whitch is the same distance of teh English feet.
I don’t really see much point in intelligence anyway, even at very high levels of intelligence, wizards still don’t realize it would have been smarter to be a sorcerer.

"O cruel fate, floating through the void of space like gravity's plaything. O to be thusly boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones, it bones for thee."

Nope - went metric in the '70s. Of course, they DO still drive on the left hand side of the road, just in case someone in oncoming traffic pulls a sword on them...
