Why cant my bard learn epic spells?

I had a 21+ bard and the epic spells feat never showed up on my screen, and the manual says that Epic bards can learn spells, or is it wrong? ( This offline, not online on Ns)

Bards, like all classes, need level 9 casting to learn epic spells. Bard spells only reach up to 6th level, and thus cannot satisfy that requirement. Nice of Bioware to do that.

you can get lvl 9 spells via the pm class though, and then be able to get epic spells on your bard

You don't need 9th level spells for Epic spells. Just 21 levels of a 9th level capable caster class or 15 of Pale Master.

you also need alot of spell craft for epic spells
