Automatically logged out?

Lately when I log in to the boards I can click on a couple topics and then it asks for my login again.

I log in just fine, but then everything is marked as read and I can't see where new posts have been made without skimming the times/dates.

Just a minor annoyance, but one I thought was worth mentioning.

Do you have your browser settings set up to automatically delete cookies after you close the window, or perhaps on another condition? That may be causing you to log out.

I checked my browser settings; I don't see anything there that would be causing the problem. What's more, it happens on multiple PCs using Firefox and IE, and only on these boards (the bioware forums, some techie forums, etc. work fine).

Like I said, it's just irritating at worst. I've gotten into the habit of copying my post to clipboard prior to hitting submit.

I just thought that if this was a known issue that there might be someone out there who could say "Ah, we've seen this before. It's this."

No biggie.

The same thing happens to me now and then. I haven't figured out why but it eventually works it self out.

Double check your cookies again... if that doesn't work, set it to remember your login. Just deactivate it after if you are on a public PC.

The same thing happens to me, also. It started about a month ago.
I will be perusing the forums, and then all of a sudden I will be transfered
to the nsrealm main page as not logged in. Heh, I have to wait awhile to
log in again, to get my new post highlights back. *shrugs*

I think it is possible, though unlikely, that you had yourself logged into the forum on another account. Maybe someone logged in there, which retroactively logged you out?

Um, nope. I 've only got one account for the forums.

Also, my other PCs are off at the moment...unless my cat has gotten tech-savvy.
