creating new forum accounts :

I wasn't sure if somthing was changed ; but i have yet to recieve a conformation e-mail to activate a 'new' forum account -- i have always hated this tag ...i tried to re-send the conformation e-mail again; but it still has not come....tho if ye want to ressurect my old account thats fine too...its been a year ; and it is still #7 on the spam charts

Maybe the moderators are manually accepting new registering accounts to reduce SPAM bots ? I remember that was put into effect at least for a time a ways back....

if thats the case; then i probably just need to wait

No - registration confirmation is by user - shouldn't need any confirmation by an Admin. However, I currently have it set that you can only create one account per email address. Did you try and use the same email address for registration? Does that setting need to be changed?

naw ; i picked an alternate e-mail address --- i did try my old e-mail but the forum yelled at me so i selected a new address and it seemed that the registration went through , except no email yet - ill try to re-send option again ; the new forum account name is " Fatzo "

Yeah - just tried to create one and never received a registration email. Definately a problem. I'll confirm the users that have been created recently and then try and fix the problem.
