Crazy Lag

Post by MLoki »

Just an FYI NS4 Prime has been having crazy lag issues since around 5 PST. The DMs that were on did a full reboot which did not help the lag problem at all.

At this moment, the server seems ok.
Maybe it was the line and not hardware then ?

No, it's not ok. I'm sure there are many, like me, who can't login at this moment. Not under :5121, :60001 or :62307.

Well I can login atm, but lag is horrible.

As soon as I can get my problems with Paypal solved, Im going to contribute with some gold pieces for that new modem, DD. I wanted to donate anyway :).

Sounds like a perfect problem for the "hammer" solution.

Don't know about anyone else, DD, but when I ping the address from work I still get the occasional timeout. Seems a little more spread out now?

I have not tried playing (that would be frowned upon), but I'll give it a shot once I'm home. It almost looked like it stabilized for a while last night...player limit wasn't maxed out at 255/255, but I didn't log in and check.

Ping statistics for 74.192.163.185: TTL=118ms
Packets: Sent = 182, Received = 181, Lost = 1 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:

 Hey! That looks a heck of a lot better than yesterday! Maybe DDog is out there on the line with a hairdryer and an extension cord! :D
