Contagion is actually REALLY nice if you can get it off on a high cha BG. For those who didnt know its negative 1/2 cha mod to all stats. It doesnt go away when resting (either party). Its duration is permanent and can only be remove curse(or was it disease) to get rid of it... that specific spell, no greater resto, no resto, no neut poison.

I once thought of getting a group together 1 pure bard + ton of 30 BGs. Curse/Dirge/Contagion to hell

lol ive also considered this korr, would be funny as all hell, everyone contagioned and cursed with a bunch of devils running round kding people, very entertaining

Yet one more reason to not play. Why spend hours upon hours leveling a toon just to have it kneecapped.
How about getting rid of the ridiculous weapons, I mean come on, who needs a +8 anything? It should be +5 for normal loot drops, +6 for crafted gear and most artifacts and maybe, just maybe +7 for extremely rare artifacts.
When I first started playing NS4 almost 4 years ago I thought cool, it has the maps of 3.5 but it doesnt have the crazy enchanted stuff.
I figured builds would count for more here, well that is still true up to 20, after 20 it is about who has the newest and flashy + bazillion long sword with their named etched on it.
Instead of going around and saying this class is too high in this department and nerfing it to oblivion, maybe the staff should set a AC and AB limit and scale all classes back accordingly.
30 PM's should have the highest AC on the server.
30 SD's should have insanely high hide/MS.
30 WM's should be able hit anything on this server.
30 DwD's should be near impossible to kill.
30 CoT's should deal huge damage.
30 Assassin's should be able to kill ANYTHING it can hit.
30 RDD's should have the highest strength and huge fireballs (was reaching on this one).
30 Shifters should get the best of all of this (just not all in one shape).
30 AA's should be able to hit anything at a distance.
30 Blackguard...Dont know squat about it.
5 Purple Dragon Eater...again dont know diddly about them.
And Harper Scout's should do what they do 1/6th best.

Chuckled at this because in someways it is true meaning the 30's, the weapons and armor started to get higher and higher and when the weapons were introduced certain builds could be forged from it to create an awesome build. :lol:
I had a really good PM with 47 AC, but lots of DR. AC is less important for Pale Masters than it is for other builds... that said, they still get more AC than any other class + crit immunity (the most wanted bonus probably) + stun immunity (also a nice bonus). I saw a str-based PM on today with 70 AC... not too shabby, and it doesn't look like PMs are exactly hurting still.
He was a fat troll of a dwarf and any good mage could beat him to a pulp unless you chugged your pots all the way to the travel dragon. :wink: :wink: chug , chug.




I have been fighting PM's after the nerf and it still takes an army to down one. AC isn't big as before and you actually hit them sometimes, but since you cant crit them and both PM and their summon are hitting you back. One can't say they are underpowered now.

Make a cleric/monk focus on things and see how far he goes otherwise you have no mage classes to bring them down. Mages bring down PM's fast (if you adept to mages).

If it still takes a mage or a cleric to kill a PM then their AC is still too high! I don't see how did lower ac make them weaker to caster clerics and mages? They say their toons are ruined, and still takes a specialty build to take them down, and melee is still not the way to fight them. I really don't see your point!

ive killed a few pm summoners before and after the nerf one on one with my pure cleric, its all about how you play it and how they play it really, and i know theres better pure cleric builders and players in nc (ashe comes to mind) so i dont think they have any problems with their lack of mages, i find i really enjoy playing my pure cleric though for some reason, gotta stay on your toes but theyre a great build to mess around in pvp with, total glass cannon but more survivable then their mage counterparts.

My hips air elemental was taking bolg down before any nerfs... ontop of his AC he had epic dodge. Probably be a lot harder fought battle between both of the nerfs on those toons.
