Tournament of Tomes

Are there any, wandering the lands of Aetheria, that believe themselves to be the best of the best. I propose a contest to see who has the right to call themselves the Champion of Aetheria!

Here's the idea...a tournament of 16 with entry fee of any +2 tome. Wait don't object yet... this is 16 tomes up as prizes.... 1st place (the Champion) would receive 6 tomes for proving her/his prowless in battle...2nd place would receive 4 tomes...and 3rd 2 tomes...what about the last 4 you ask....a Free for All Battle at the end with the last person standing winning the remaining 4.

Because asking for such a high Entry Fee - I propose 1 vs 1 battles with victor to be the first with 3 kills in order to move on to next segment. Four segments in all: Intial segment, second, semi-finals and then final 2. The 2 that lose the semi finals would battle to determine who is 3rd and 4th - winner of this would be 3rd (again first with 3 kills in 1 on 1 battles).

Angel of {CLAD} would hostess event and rez the fallen after each battle - save time and possible xp penalty.

Need 16 brave soul's no more no less....anyone interested? Well could do with 8 I suppose.

I will set down the rest of rules if there is enough interest.

Because the Shifter class is being balanced, I propose they not participate.

Not a bad idea...

PM me and I'll help you with the organization of it. Rules, classes, levels, time and place.. etc.. as will see if other DM's can be available to help out on contest day..

Maybe open it up a bit more and have a few more, one for melee classes, one for casting classes, one for dexers, with winners being declared in each group, then have a contest between the champions of each group for a DM prize.

Sounds like fun! Will be waiting to see what rules, and if hipsters have there own class to fight in .... HE HE i guess i just dont like them, dont have a toon done yet to find them but it is on the way!

Well im definately in if there is a spot open for me come contest day. I must say Eldaquen nice idea you came up with Although I don't consider myself to be the best of the best, I just think it would be a contest to remember. Hope to hear more about it soon!!

good luck, if ya need another i would be happy to join in the fun. or help out with the event itself.

i have found even with dm support a player run event, or any event for that matter is hard to keep under control. things get crazy fast and players dont always do as one would wish.

anyway let me know if you need one more.
