Well, they want to be like illithid, so I would guess that their aims would be world domination via psionics and intellectual dominance.

The Illithid Order was formed eons ago when all the worlds were new and the Illithid still old. the Illithid or Children of Cthulhu as they were called served Cthulhu as his first chosen they carried out his orders and will untill the loss of their lord Cthulhu some time after his destruction a prophosy was fortold of his return but he could only return if his faithful found a certian artifact that could open a portal to the past and thus save Cthulhu from his demise. world after world was serched but no sutch power could be found. the search continues on manny realms and as fate would have it has now come to Atheria.

Here on Atheria there are portals to other dimentions and planes of exsistance, and it is here that the Illithid Order has found new viggor and hope in their search. of all the factions on Atheria the Mystral Ascendency had the most promise and most in common with the Order. and it is here that the Illithid Order has set up their latest outpost to continue the search for the power that will return their lord Cthulhu.

The Illithid Order structuraly is set up with three branches the Schollars, the Innates, and the Reformers. Schollars are the knowlage seeking mages of the IO, Innates aka Psicore are the psychics ( bard and sorcerers) and priests of the IO, and the Reformers are the warriors and rogues of the IO altho they each have diffrent ways their aims are unified unto one end alone.... the return of Cthulhu.
