mmmk, i seem to have a problem finding people to duel on ns4...,maybe cuz i pwn so much and ur all afraid=P, or u dont know i wanna duel, so here i am send me some PM's if you wish to have a melee duel,includes no heals! and no casters cuz all u guys can do is run or id pwn on ya....but other than that im lookin to get goin weekly tournys, maybe yonwe cud help us out with organizing them with some rules/rewards and all that good stuff........neways if ya wanna get pwnd by a lvl 28 god melee lemme know..peace

...or (more likely) perhaps it's because it's NOT AN ARENA SERVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, if all you want to do is pure 1 on 1 pvp, then log off of NS4, and logon to one of the NWN arena servers, levelup your char to 40, grab your weapons and fight... sure saves hour upon hour of leveling up on NS4.

Otherwise, if you want some action on NS4, why not try invading a city and announce it, if nobody comes, taunt a bit ... at least then you're contributing to the theme of the server (and actually putting something at risk) instead of trying to turn it into a simplistic pvp arena.

Now don't get me wrong, I love the occasional battle royal, but I feel it should happen within the flow of the game...

if u want PvP also u could take over and area, randomly attack the player you want to PvP, do what was ranted above, taunt a guild into PKing you, well there are Lots of way to find yourself some action. you just have to be loud about it... you can even put a price on your own head on shout

for a nice item of a few mil gold

It would be even more easy to find a fight if everyone didn't choose LA (ofcouse those who dont choose LA got it easy, but those who do can only fight 3-5 players at a server since the rest is from LA to)

which is why 90% of my ppl are from menzo or garagoth...i love the fight. it also helped when the GoN were active on this world, gave the enemy a face.

If you could get +50% movement speed somewhere else than LA faction then I wouldn't recommend LA to noobs and make so many LA characters.

Also, the proximity of Avendell makes it a natural default.

Open another advanced trading spot and/or add messenger quests to other factions and perhaps your problem will be solved.

I accually have a character from every faction

My strongest is just from ns and i am not about to raid and get pwned and have the possibility of loosing a good item

^ DNA strand.

There are benefits from every faction, and with the jobs for each being in the process of getting added these will only increase. I know for a fact from posts that I have read recently that there are also many areas that some of you dint even know exist. Such as Quith'yot being here in NS4. A low/mid level dragon from NS3 that seems a wee bit tougher here in NS4.

if you are from ns and become enemy of ns by killing the guards repeatedly you become an outcast, thus on login you become enemy to almost all the server

that happened to my fighter and my rogue chars

he is enemy to almost all the server on login

maybe you could do that and therefore have a reason to pvp

remember, there are factions and there are outcasts, the factionless...

EDIT: btw... almost none of my chars have the speed token O.o too boring to get... lol

and if you are from AO and dont want to be RDD but you want to be a WM, can you do that? or are you stuck with RDD... just a supposition... maybe this clearing of info might help people into not choosing LA for the WM build or SD, but other faction... knowing that other factions have areas way better suited for leveling a lowbie than LA, and it will help you not bore yourself out from the drawn out underground/gobs/bandits/ogers/ line but you could have an easier time and a less repetitive one leveling somewhere elsse

As a matter of trivia, in all the years that I've been playing NS4, and even despite being a DM, I have actually never made a single Last Alliance character. In fact, I try to avoid Ancient Ones as well for the same reason, since it's basically a far-north Neversummer when you get down to it... I love the faction system way too much to become part of the problem

For me, it's:

Bard - NC
Barbarian - TC
Cleric - NC or SL, depending on alignment
Druid - TC
Fighter - NC or RK
Monk - NC or AO
Paladin - NC
Ranger - AO (multiclassing is a must for me here)
Rogue - MA or SL, depending on race
Sorcerer - MA
Wizard - MA
Junkbaster Multiclass or Prestige - By necessary faction
