Will the next review include 5 unique people for each guild to remain active. I know a large portion of all the AO/RK guilds (when I was playing) that regularly played were all the same few people.

All the RK and AO guilds easily have 5 unique members in each. Which isn't a requirement anyway. But I'd hate to see what happens to DD, FoN, CLAD, etc if that were made a requirement.

I'm curious, if the TC slot gets filled then there will be 2 guilds in every faction. At that point will a 3rd guild be allowed?

Seriously CLAD, FoN and TSS all have more unique members than Pwnd and the other satellite guilds. At least that's what it seems from outside. And all those unique and shared logins don't fool anybody.

Well ashagoon I was on teamspeak with you all, I know how many unique members you have. Tell me before mamba came back how many active non PWnD/RR/HNs tlb members were there?

Thats not the point I was trying to make though. I think it would help rotate guilds for some of the new players to be able to set up their own. If that means that DD and IO and whoever else lose status, then well thats their fault and noone elses.

It always did seem awkward that all you needed was 5 members to make a guild and NEVER again was it checked for activity or those members. Get a few friends to play for a few months get a guild and let the friends go back to whatever else. . . just doesnt seem very balanced.

Hasn't seem to cause any problems in the past 5 years.
Every faction has at least 1 guild willing to take in new players.

DD (as an example) for one has been the longest running guild on this server-(beats TLB by a couple weeks) and has had its up and downs in membership and leadership over these many years. Geez when I was Capo in DCN ,DD was our sworn enemy(goodtimes). I like the flux of guilds ,you can go away for a couple months and come back and see a couple of old faces but it be a whole new game.

Alot of guilds didn't even get off the ground to start and just kinda faded away.The guilds like BoP who just disappeared completely , obviously should be removed to make room. To suggest that DD and IO lose status to make room for some newbie guild? Each who have over 10 members who are at least semi active.... (rolls eyes at Korr)

I think if a bunch players want to start a guild it be alot easier just to join one of the existing ones instead of putting the Devs/Dms through the hassle of dropping in new halls/forums etc. etc... when they could be putting thier time into better stuff for the whole community like Events and Fixes.

Admitedly Kim is on the ball with the guild stuff by my experiences and was always quick to get back to me on issues concerning that. *round of applause for DMKim and her time and patience*

So in order to keep new players interested we should give them no chance to create guilds of their own? Also why should you with your own vision have to have it easier to join a guild than make a new one and change possibly alot of what YOU wanted to do? Guilds should require more upkeep than start up I think without a question.

You are obviously missing the point of what i was saying.

It's a small player base and existing active to semi-active guilds would lose thier guild status cause someone wants to make a guild somewhere? I'm not arguing that guilds who go inactive like BoP should be replaced but why shut down and active guild????
You mentioned DD and IO. They're active guilds not as active as they once were but still active and I'm sure will become more active once the winter rolls around again. As far as Unique Members in each guild. DD up untill recently did not allow any multi guilding. In fact the only guild that enforced it. Alot of us can't play everyday 8hrs a day 7 days a week like some of the players here. So they don't count all of a sudden? The Team is well aware of our Alt accounts and see us playing our tagged toons aswell...

You can very well start a tagged cult with YOUR vision and wait for an opening to become a official Guild there's no rules about that. Thats the way it works now. I've played in KsT and DCN and we gave up our spots willingly without even being asked by the Team, so i know it happens.
There's a spot open in TC right now? Open to New and Old players alike.....
I'm not sure what you are getting at? You want more guild slots / faction?

If a guild is inactive and there is a group of players in that faction who want to have a guild spot why don't they ask the DMs if they can take over the said inactive guild, to same them and the DMs the truble of setting up a new guild hall etc?

I believe this is what happened to FoN a wile back.

As a member of IO I can say that most of us are active, I have seen at least 8 different people on the few times I have been on in the past month. Like Alkapwn said some of us have jobs that restrict our time, others have a job and a wife which makes for less time and some more still, have a job, a wife and kids...can you say no time...I fall into the last category with the added benefit of living on the road during the week for my job. So it is nice when I can get an hour or three on a sunday to play my tagged and non-tagged toons. So Korr, using your logic it could be extended to, if you don't play X amount of time then we should delete your toons. Not quite right is it. As far as guilds go there are plenty guilds in which one can fit into. there are good and evil...PvP and semi-Pvp/PvM.

I have to agree that Korr was right in the beginning, but went LOONEY when he stated DD and IO. The guilds out of RK and AO would be the only ones I could see being consolidated due to the multi boxing out of two different guilds at the same time. The guilds out of MA, SL, NC, and TC are pretty much the purest on the server as far as having true numbers of actual single players.

HNs has the numbers of "pure" players without multiboxing. TSS, CLAD and FoN are just as multiguilded as the ones you are talking about Tal. The new MADD shares players from DD. Just read the members list. There is nothing stated that says you cant belong to more than one guild as long as each guild has 5 members. I believe that was the intent of the guild review and the results are posted and so are the policies. If the DMs/Devs had a problem with it then it would have been brought up.There is no issue here and the topic is both dead and irrelevant.

BTW, I hope the baby is doing well, Korr. I can only assume that's why we haven't seen you playing. Take care of that bundle and your girlfriend. Tell her hi from me.
