I was a little surprised to see that an action was taken long ago when Eb came back and used the pc name: Big Jigga Da Grave Digga.

Jigga was a term that came about in the late forties earlier fifties which was slang it's counterpart the infamous "N" word. Then add into the mix the failed attempts over shout at Ebonics or Gangsta Rap and you have the icing on the cake. Would be the same if someone named a pc: Honky Cracker the Butt Wacker. Both are extremely racist.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.p ... =jigga+boo
jigga boo:
1. Human of African descent, having jig like qualities. Slang racial derogatory term, i.e. jungle bunny, coon, spook.
2. Used as a disparaging term for a Black person. Frequently used in the southern portion of the United States.

True. While I agree that the term in this case was used to elicit the thought of toon being black. But I would say there are many “half words” used to day that connotate something else. what about urban speak "getting jiggy with it".... ? is that OK to say or is it too close….

Again so does the word Spook, does it not also mean a Spirit or Ghost...or in modern terms someone who does black bag OPS...

When my daughter climbs on everything and is running around and hanging off of things in a local park "...like a little monkey" should I not say that for fear that there might be a family of some other color there?

How PC are we willing to go? It's not even a matter of free speech. How far does a restriction on a language go?

But problem was we know what Ebenezer was aiming for. In fact, he rapped and spoke Ebonics just to emphasize the "RP" of his character. Which was, in fact, racist.

Oh get over it. For those that lost characters and are going to play nice from now on, start over get some help it can be fun.

I guess people forgot what a wipe was like. It has been too long, you have all become complacent. Maybe I should "accidently" wipe the hard drive.

Mmm, my first wipe taught me that it's not the xp in your character sheet that's the most valuable, it's the xp in your head. First time out I was friendless and clueless and it took me ages just to get a character to level 20. Second time out I knew how to build, where to level and a few people to do it with. It took less than a week.

I've been through a wipe. I had a Gary pre-wipe and a Gary post-wipe, Gary is just a fun toon to build as a Party Character to build.
