In that case, an enhancement to the Quest System would be nice. Although us old-timers are used to the Jobs-only style of Neversummer 4, I remember being really disappointed in the lack of other quests to do after I finished mine in LA by level 7. I'm pretty sure this confusing aspect drives away potential new players who are expecting Personal, Regional, etc. quests and don't get any.Binkyuk wrote:AO Jobs are coming. I've been slacking too much recently.
There is a lot of potential for quests as Deputy Dog pointed out. If there was a way for optional quests that wouldn't disrupt the environment too much, I'd like to see them.

Im actually interested in more subraces first and foremost...they open up new build posibilities around the globe whereas new gear (whilst important) just offers modified builds/ new looks.
pure classes bonuses are also rather important but i dont think they can be done quickly no matter what...require a lot of imput, testing, and scripting...soo
my list would look something like:
1) subraces
2) finish jobs (close to completion, get it done and over with)
3) pure melee class bonuses (doesnt include bard/cleric)
4) new gear
5) new areas (believe these two can be independent)
6) rest of the pure classes

Before anything new (except AO jobs) bugs should be at the top of the list. If not as new areas, drops creatures etc are added the "bug" list will increase.
Becarefull on adding to much new. Sometimes Less is more. Don't forget as new players come in, everything is "new" to them. The one thing you want to avoid is having so many options in races and sub-races that and types of zones is that you increase the "learning curve" of the server in general.

AO jobs are deff one of the top concerns IMO and as celorn said LA could use a weapon damage job that most other factions enjoy now, electrical damage seems to fit them perhaps a scaling effect based on level of activator similar to TCs.
i would also like to see some of the weapons that dont have higer end versions get some .. spears, scimitars, and hand axe for example
also from celors list a better variety of craftable potions ect like all the stat buff ones and a lore potion perhaps for the less skill savy builds like fighters barbarians ect
i would aslo like some non faction based jobs/quests ( also a way to introduce some new weapons/gear as prizes for finishing the quest) some examples of quests would be a seek and destroy job for the ave mercinarys, finding some items or the like for the NC monks to further their understanding of balance. the Ranger trader in FD needs some rare animal parts or blood to help keep his healing potions fully stocked. elvin needs some lockpicks as his supplys are also getting low. and finaly the various transport dragons want some rare gems ect for their hoards.
after the above subraces would be nice tho id urge that you concider what classes have fiew choices at to races ( bards for ex have nothing with them as a favored class)

Hand-axes would be really nice.
New areas...has anyone given any thought to a "lost continent". The planar areas are great and the lowbies areas are a plenty. But when you get into your 20's your leveling experience hits a plateau with a smaller selection of level appropriate areas. You have Zons, giants and various faction cities(although gods help you if you are 20-23 level and you run into the epic defenders).
I for one would love to see the world of Aetheria become larger.
An area like the Halfling zone on 3.5 would be cool, like where you get the periannath gear(not that same gear). But anything involving lower level bosses.
And anything quest related, the more quests the better. Variety is the spice of life.
Just want to say good job to the Devs and DM's.
