These 3 topics I'm about to make all stemmed from what I was thinking about "NS4 Extreme" or "NS4 Hardcore". Not making both servers different is fine, but some changes could be made to both as they are anyway. Also pay attention to how ironic it is that the topic title actually goes along with the subject.

What I was originally getting at with the no rules part, was keep every thing how it is now on Prime but remove odd rules like the Commandment that mentions pking around spawn points and the kill limits and their times.

The PKing around spawn points thing reads

IV - Thou shalt not attack players at respawn points. This includes setting traps around the respawn points or the exits from the respawn points, or camping the exit of a respawn point that has only one way in or out.

Now to me this can easily be fixed and removed or needs to be rewritten.

Inside Spawn points areas, like Inns, Huts, Houses, whatever, you disable pvp like in Avendell.

The part thats not clear on this right now is, say I'm bound in the inn in Garagoth, and I walk out into the town. Theres only one exit from the inn. You shouldn't be able to kill me in town the way this is written.

We're allowed to take over areas like Avendell crossing if we want, and pk people who come out of the Ave gates or off the Silver Road or out of the Dark Forest or off the dragon, right? So what if we want to camp the screen in Angmar desert where the dragon is and kill anyone who comes onto it? If someone knows you're camping an area and they keep coming back, you can kill em as much as you want. If you kill someone coming out of the tent there, or out of any respawn area/inn/hut whatever and they keep coming back out ot the area you're camping same theory should apply. You don't lose xp for pvp.

It sounds like the rule was supposed to say don't set traps or attempt any sort of hostile action in the respawn areas, or hang out inside those areas with only one exit and not allow people to leave.

But depending on who you talk to and their personal take on it, you shouldn't be able to take over say, NS Judiciary District or let alone kill anyone there during a raid who died and is coming out of the Temple.

Same with Garagoths main city area because of the inn there. NC's Northwest area outside the cradle HQ with the bind point being in the building across, and probly a bunch of other places. Not in game right now, but is'nt there a bind point on an open screen, Hallowtop I think it is? How does this apply to pvp in Hallowtop?

So yeah my NS4 Extreme idea says make the indoor areas with spawn points non-pvp like Ave. I saw someone set a trap in Ave the other day and you could walk all over it and it wouldn't go off. Problem solved, you can eliminate that commandment. A guild mate of mine got a 24 hour ban for killing someone allllll the way on the opposite side of the screen from the tent in Angmar Oasis maybe a month or two ago. The rule is not clear at all, and the fix is so easy it doesn't need to be there in the 1st place.
This will not be over quickly.
