Bard jobs:
Meet with Armsmaster Cherise at the Sanctum Arcanum, she will be your point of contact for Bard jobs.
Seeker:
Cherise will send you to speak to Bristol, who will assign you a reconnaissance task. There has been a strange creature sighted in a cave in the Daeron Outskirts. Your instructions are to investigate to discover the nature of the beast, but do not attack.
Level 1: Travel to the cave to discover the fire mephit lurking there, return and report back to Bristol.
Reward: +1 to tumble/spot/listen/perform/UMD
Level 2: Bristol sends you on a mission to collect 5 coldstones, with which he will make a special wand to help combat the fire mephit.
Reward: +1 to tumble/spot/listen/perform/UMD. Seeker’s Goggles – Item grants Darkvision 1x/day.
Level 3: Bristol gives you the wand and sends you to destroy the mephit. Use the wand on the mephit to weaken it, then kill it. Retrieve item “flame essence” and return to Bristol.
Reward: +1 to tumble/spot/listen/perform/UMD. Seeker’s Goggles improve to Ultravision 1x/day.
Level 4: Bristol and Cherise use the “flame essence” to distil an elixir to "fireproof" shields and armor. Deliver a sample of this to Grand Highmarshal Brea and report back to advance to Master level.
Reward: +1 to tumble/spot/listen/perform/UMD. Seeker’s Goggles improve duration of Ultravision, grant immunity to blindness for 1 round + 1/3 character level.

I tried to make these bonuses as balanced as possible, somewhere along the lines of the other NC jobs. This does not grant a full +1 to AC from tumble, and does not grant an AC bonus. Also, make this ONLY available to bards, and make it so they cannot take the other NC jobs if they tell Highmarshal Cristoph they would rather use their magic to aid the Coalition.
Thoughts?

AO has 3 unfinished jobs you mean.
I guess the first job would require a separate area with the mephit in it. OnEnter or OnExit would give you the variable to being able to progress in the job.
Else you would have to place a guard there, which you would have to speak to, to change the value.
Or maybe something entirely else
.
Don't know if immunity to blindness isn't too good. Immunity to WoF and other Blindness causing spells is quite good. Actually very good indeed. At least the duration seems to be right. And the trade off is you don't get the other boni.
Maybe you could give bards an item which would lower the Arcane Spell Failure? Although not sure if this could be scripted.

It seems odd to me though that NC would get better Bard bonuses than MA (the arcane specialists). They're lucky to even have bards. If they do get said bard bonuses, it seems Rogues of MA should get something too since they (along with Clerics) are our unpopular folk.
That said, SL is in need more than anyone of jobs.

Perhaps, yeah. I don't remember. Something secretive anyhow. When I first talked to him I clicked on that option and when I got that error, I just assumed that the jobs weren't scripted and didn't realize there were others because I kept getting weird errors when I talked to him again.

I would think some quest surrounding the Fey Cave (Crevasse) would be more appropriate given that essentially that area does nothing other than be a conduit to a broken shortcut to melencia.
Perhaps the quest is that the Fey Queen wants you to rid her home of the mephit???
Sounds kind of funky to me.
Edit: Perhaps when the conduit is fixed the coldstones could be retrieved off a certain number of pixies/nymphs/dryads/ other flit-flits which i forget starting with g lol - in melencia itself making it a bit of work to get items.

The function in the conversation with Christoph could be either arcane or divine, all it would take is a get_class in the conversation, then Christoph could send them off to either the temple next door, or the Sanctum.
Making it so the bard could not take the other jobs, I feel, would make it a balanced bonus. I had another idea for further bard jobs beyond this, but that can wait. Also, you would have to be about level 3 or higher if the mephit had a fire cone attack, otherwise you won't survive.
The cleric job I have in mind would be more than likely a healer/protector job. I have some ideas on this, but they aren't completed yet.
