From the commandments:
"III Thou shat not exploit known bugs with the intention of causing another player to suffer a respawn penalty. This includes the Flesh to Stone bug" bug."
We all know that there is a bug that forces a player to take a respawn penalty if PK'd while in combat with mobs. This is an exploit to the rules of commandment III and has been an issue time and time again. Different rulings have been laid out, and they have been contradictory to the commandment's definition. So my suggestion is to either fix the bug or change the commandment. As it stands now PKing someone in combat is legal and encouraged. As per the commandments it is illegal and considered harassing. So basically we need a change one way or another to solve this problem. Not a complaint, just an observation.

I try to avoid doing that, but it has been recently stated that an individual(a DM but not NS4 apparently) would use any tool necessary in order to beat down a player and it was specifically stated that mobs would be used if available.
I do know that if it is done to me I will return the favor tenfold if no raise or apology is forthcoming.

If ther player states he u beat me and i accept it can i get a raise i got mob killed then yeah they will recieve one ....
But when someone gets mobbed killed then goes spouting off at the mouth then its there own fault ....
Attacking someone who is in mid fight isnt illigeal its allowed ....
Now training mobbs at someone then hipsing and watching them wipe out the party .... thets the exploit they are refering too ( well one of em)

It's not a bug. It depends on whether a player or spawn landed the killing blow. Since you are dealing with a server, rather than a local game, there will occasionally be a little lag and maybe it will appear that the player, not the monster, was the last to hit you. Check your combat log carefully.Gornickthy wrote:From the commandments:

As far as losing xp from being pk'd, I've lost xp in a 1-on-1 fight before, so should we just say that pk's are not to be tollerated? I don't think so. I've had it happen to me, and I'm still playing. It's not always 100% risk-free.

You all seem to be correct, but off subject.
If I understand correctly the original posting is a request for someone in power (IE a DM/DEV/God) to Confirm or Correct Comandments.
We don't play to the quoted Commandment (in its current writen form) and as such it dilutes the caste-in-stone nature of the others.
