NS5 forum

Post by lord_modred »

ok, so this isnt actually a ns4 idea. but why not make a small NS5/NWN2 exclusive forum for the express purpose of discussing the future of NS?
frankly you'd probably only need a discussion forum(for getting future clans established and conducting other community related stuff) and a suggestion forum.

would be nice if there was a forum that non-devs could access

It's a good idea, and something we already have planned for the future. We are looking at collapsing all of the forums into one and using sub-forums to organize the various incarnations. The NS5 forums will likely be the catalyst for that process.

However, we're not at the point where we are ready to start looking at player suggestions or speculation, sorry to say =) We've got lots of hard work just getting the groundwork hammered out and I'd rather not have our devs be...ahem... "distracted" in such a way. We learned our lessons from NS4 ;)

That said, I can promise one thing: You guys can expect to have an NS5 forum, where you can discuss and suggest ideas, "soon".

Forbidden??? I always thought that was the sacred word because every sentence ends with it. Kinda like Amen. :)

We are hoping also to take the stigmata off the word "soon' when used in referance to NS projects. Remember NS4 was "soon" for roughly 2 years. The lag time for NS5 will be noticably shorter than that.

Whose promising? That still leaves one year and eleven months. :P

and I can always come back and delete any referances and claim it was all lies and propaganda if you and the team cant manage to get 12 or so zones out within that time frame
