Extended store hours/night store

Post by disastro »

I'm sure this has been suggested before (though a search on "store hours" did not return anything meaningful): how about extending the hours that stores are available, or making an alternative "night store" where prices are perhaps not so good but its open all night?

basically if you get into a position where you need to sell (inventory space/weight/etc) then you are stuck not being able to really play until the clock rolls around. I like the idea of store hours as an immersive piece of RP, however I find that it really drags my gameplay down, especially at lower levels where str is low and storebought eq makes such a difference.

I don't have lots of time available to play and it's aggravating to have to stop and wait and do nothing before proceeding (or simply not sell, or not buy higher level eq, etc).

unless there's already a place to sell at night that I'm not aware of?

melencia.

the trick is to schedule your adventuring around store hours. you can always drop stuff, and heaven forbid if you're really stuck you can always log out and go out and play.

One is reachable through Dragon Air, the other through a random portal :).

I guess I havent found them yet. it would be nice if they were available in home towns and avendell, since that's where it would make the most difference in gameplay (levels below 15).

at higher levels where you have access to speed boosters/cash for dragons/etc it's not as big a deal to travel out to a store. (plus you're pretty much drop/trade dependent at higher levels from what I've seen)
