Is it just me, or do others feel that an armor class of 65-70+ is a bit insane? Particulary with the toon in question is a light or no armor class type?
Prehaps there should be an AC cap on light and no armor toons.

Not in the slightest. With a server like this needing so much skill to get a truly powerful toon, then being able to get an AC like that is a just reward for the time put into it.
May I guess you wear a lot of heavy armours?

Not just PMs. My druid can get 61 AC, and he's just a 26. It's just going up from there, too.

a high AC is possible with dex based toons or wisdom AC from monk/druid or monk/cleric.... my druid monk has 77AC in air elemental shape and is immune to crits

Not by a long shot. Ever hear of a spell called bigby? One of those from a decent wizard, and most toons are pinned down for long enough for someone else to do whatever they want to them. It's like a really complicated game of rock/paper/scizors. You need to be able to punch through a high AC? Be an Arcance Archer, or some other build that specializes in that sort of thing. Just as those toons have their strengths, they also have their weaknesses. Most high AC builds either can't hit anything, or can't do any damage. Or they're weak to taunt, or bigby, or something. It's just a matter of being able to counter it.

I'm blown away by some of the builders on NS. They are almost Mathmaticians.
My advise is don't get frustrated get smarter.

you cant cap AC without capping AB as well....
then you end up capping everything... and well then we make Chase very happy.....+1 sticks for all WOOT!
I think NS4 has done a fantastic job at balancing a very unbalanced game........
every toon has strengths and weaknesses... it is the players job to find those strengths and weaknesses and use that info to their advantage...
btw i know 80AC can be achieved by a variety of toons but can any1 break 90? ( without imp expertise of course) im just curious if it is possible havent done the math and i dont feel like it either lol....

I don't have any problems with high AC dex builds.
But I do think some adjustments can be made against the cheesy monk and tumble builds.
The following adjustments would be helpfull
Tumble: a full plate toon with +8AC of tumble is just wrong.
If possible make the max dex bonus also the max tumble bonus of armor.
This also would make medium armor better.
Robes: Remove the magical armor bonus from robes.
Robes are not armor so should not receive magical armor bonus.
If toons with no armor want armor bonus let them take the braciers.
And add some armor bonus to monk gloves.
But I do think some adjustments can be made against the cheesy monk and tumble builds.
