New ferries
The new ferries at Falme, Highlands and Haddon Mirk are pretty useful for getting around, but their prices seem a little steep. The Mirk ferry charges 12k either way, the Falme ferry 12.5k to the Mirk and Highlands 9 or 9.5k to the Mirk. That's pretty high compared to the other ferries and their destinations. The FD ferries range from 8k to 15k, the Sunken ferries from 4k to 10k. Yet, FD is now level 15+ and Sunken is about the same. The destinations for these newer ferries are generally lower level areas. The price is comparable to dragon fare, but the dragons also have the advantage of being able to transport relics unlike the ferries, and so deserve a higher price.

This is part of an overall effort to restore a semblance of "economy" to the server, along with the availability of epic ammunition for ~4k per bundle, as well as a few other things that will eventually find their way into the module. A single foray into the ice giants right now might net each player in a party about 20k in gold and items, which alone covers the expenses of taking a ferry to and fro from Frostdale, which means anything beyond that is pure profit... it's not like we don't want people to not have gold, or even struggle to get gobs of it, but we just don't want people hoarding it excessively.

mmmm more GOLD !!!!
the ferries are unionized, thus they must require a higher charge....the dragons belong to the Atheria Socialsit movement party (ASMP) and thus are standard in all of their prices, well becaues it is the socialist thing to do...fairness to all

It seems that the new ferry to Haddon may not help players explore that area as much as one would hope since the price and time to travel there is now about the same as just taking the dragon to Western Slope. Figure it takes someone 6 maps to travel out to Falme from Avendel (the hub) to take a ferry to Haddon Mirk or they could simply jump on a Dragon to Western Slope and head straight south for about 4 maps. The price is comparable and low level characters can't really afford the trip either way so at that point they just hang around the mountain still. Haven't really helped in the exploration and travel goal that putting the new ferry in was supposed to accomplish. Likewise, I would love to see the ferries from Grey Shores, Highlands, Windale, and Black Hills all connect. I don't really play NC or MA but it would help those characters transition to other areas when they first start out. Something comparable to the Windale/Blackhills ferry so that lowbies can actually afford the trip. Perhaps putting the FD ferry in NC and MA ports as well instead of Grey Shores would keep people from using that junction to get to Sunken as much and allow them to travel to a resonable port instead. These are just some ideas on balancing out the ferry issues and letting people travel to distant ports and areas more readily.
