was wondering:

aside from leto's stat boosts to ECL subraces, is there a way these ECL subraces also get a bit more in terms of saves and dcs?

for example an ECL2 level 1 wizard gets his spell dcs like a level 2 (ECL 0) wizard.

an ECL3 level 1 figther gets saves like a level 3 (ECL 0) fighter.

this might make ECL characters too strong, but what if you limited such bonuses on characters to their favored classes?

so for example a fire genasi fighter may not get the abovementioned bonuses but a fire genasi sorcerer would (since its his favored class). this will tie players to certain classes if they ever want such bonuses.

As far as a noob point of view. It rocks and it doesnt. There are a few people out there I am sure that could take full advantage of that idea and exploit it worse than a hacker on windows.

But still I like the idea and the possiblities make toon building very interesting at that point.
Im not being redundant there am I?

Na ECL is only for exp penalty, it doesn't mean the toon is actually suposed to be that many levels ahead of it's curve. The penalty reflects how much harder it is to level then any other race/subrace only.
