every one knows that the mystral ascendency is the foremost developer of arcane methods and magical devices in the world. this is an undisputed fact. However, while the mystral ascendancy has been excelling in the field of the arcane, it has been somewhat lacking in the field of practical technologies. The mystral ascendency is far behind in the mechanical technologies race when compared to the technological super power of ragnars kin! if we are to survive in this world we must strive to move foward in these fields instead of taking the single minded approach of focusing on magic.
what i propose that we, as a faction, do is that we found the first scientific program involving molecular and electromagnetic physics that aetheria has ever seen. i propose that we create what i like to call, the Mystal Ascendency Nuclear Technologies Development Program. if we divert 20% of the magical energies departments funding, 15% of the Planar Travels Bureau Budget, and cut peasent welfare and health expenditures by 50%, the money provided by this would be more than enough to provide several billion gold pieces worth of equipment including but not limited to mithril reinforced particle accelerators, +5 radiation sheilding, 5000lbs of scrap adamantine, and would be enough to employ 50 of the mystral ascendencies leading minds AND would provide jobs for over 500 unemployed peasants! If we aquired these funds and the appropriate staffing, we would be able to achieve the enriching of adamantine within the year! With this enriched adamantine, we could enough reactors to power the golems that guard our city INDEFINITELY! we we would no longer be dependent on the souls of mephits and the wildly inefficient power that they produce to fuel our constructs! additionally, we would be able to construct warheads powerful enough to devastate an entire district of neversummer, such warheads could easily be delivered by captured blue dragons and detonated by consentrated bursts of their breath weapons.
please support my proposition and vote for it in the upcoming MA special elections, the safety of our nation state... the safety of your childeren, depends on this!

As an alternative proposal for our construct power needs, i suggest research into the self replicating abilities of Mephits. Simply herd them together and enchant them to cast Summon Mephit as often as possible. Stage 2 would be to put them into factories (that i like to call 'Fast Breeders') and supply them with more conventional arcane power so as to replicate more often.

i think MA should have a building that is only useable by faction members that contain dimension doors. these doors could put them closer to enemy cities or avendell/frostdale. MA should have it as they are the most knowledgable in the arcane magics and could bend/shape the rifts to their will.
if i didn't do it...someone else would have.
it is a bit strange that the faction blurb says that MA secreted themselves far from everyone and use magical means and hidden tunnels to travel, and yet (unless you mean haste) i've not seen any magical way of getting from the garagoth peninsula to the rest of the world any faster.
perhaps a magic door between garagoth and mezoduran?
in fact that's not a bad idea for other faction allies. it'd allow allied defenders to work effectively despite not being able to bind to their rift shards.
