Global alliances

How hard is it to reset defaul alliances between factions (players and NPC's) based on the way gamers are behaving?

Could for example Last Alliance gain an ally.

Obviously some rules such as no more than 2 allies and at least one enemy would to be in place to prevent a faction from befriending all

This could be done by formal request from factional guild leaders, or via some complicated spy-boot automating the process.

A bit of player politicing that can influence the world would be great, bards and assassins could recieve orders from a guild leader where the only perpose is to gain favour with another faction - awesome!

dude stop trying the way the server is meant to be, it has been like this for years. and it hasnt been changed for a reason.

i agree with one thing here. if a single player wants to be aligned with multiple factions....could that be possible? i mean if your a druid from NS and want to be friends with TC...why shouldn't you? it would make things interesting if you could actually get a faction add on to have more friends.

Deathdealer's idea is good but the entire idea of Last Alliance gaining another ally isn't. LA is the biggest faction, its got good jobs, close to good areas next to it, and is the LAST Alliance. Besides, we all need a place to raid, if LA was allied with another faction then that would make it much harder to find a faction to raid in a group. Because a lot of groups have maybe a guy from MA, AO there, etc.

"the way it has always been" is not a good arguement for status quo. just cause it is always been that way doesn't make it the best way...

It seems the world is pretty static (after a reset) as it is, I recon it'd be great to be able to Negotiate new allies, making alliances could have lasting effects on all of your faction, your behaviour as a member of a faction could result in your faction losing privileged ally status etc.

OK so LA was a bad example but it was just that, an example...

Maybe LoS might want to try to talk the AO's into betraying the Dwarves... you can see the Role play benefits and coolness of loggin in one day and all your allied factions have been told your now the enemy...
on a side note... attacking your own faction makes you a trator and unable to return to your own townships... what is the result of attacking an allied Township, do they remember your wrongs?

No, sunken is there for level 30s to go to and get the Pirahna'rs Tooth, Pirahna's Helm, Tidal Lord Helm, and etc. for their lowbies :D . By the way, any take up of upping the levels and cr of the guards of the cities so they can be the intermediate between Amazons and Planars? (AO guards don't need too much of increase in levels, their CR is already WAY underrated :))
