The blindness doesn't last anywhere near permanently, maybe 3 rounds at most...

This is not an idea or suggestion. Correct me if I am wrong, but this seems to be no more than blatant SPAM.

Idea: STOP SPAMMING: people who register and read this often have to WASTE THEIR TIME by reading your nonsense!

Idea: Is it possible to make these idiots shut up and only make relevant posts? I guess someone like this could "claim" it relevant.. but how does his comments improve neversummer at all? It seems to me that it would hinder the improvement process; the developers have to waste their time trying to understand why this is even here...

So ... devs never change spells to make the mod the way they want it? Because it's not good for you that means it's messed up and needs changing immediately?

BTW... do devs do updates all the time? From what I've heard there's a lot they have left to do and one person whining about every single spell in the mod seems kind of useless.

From what I've seen you're the only one who has a problem with each and every spell. Maybe they more important things to worry about right now... maybe they're getting sick of you not shutting up. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I went through and you like to say things that have nothing to do with anything other than being an idiot.

How about doing something useful other than wasting our time/researching the stupidest things. I know this is beta, but I'm sure there are better things to suggest being fixed other than every spell that every class casts.

BTW... Sunburst really shouldnt be permanent. If it was a cleric would be needed to remove it and that makes playing not very fun.

Leave the spell development to the people that develop them. One of the reasons I like neversummer is because everything seems a little more balanced; how fun would it be having a pker running around blinding everyone?

Never said anything about actually making the blindness part of the spell permanent in any way. Was just pointing out that in the bio version of the spell the duration is permanent, which is a lot longer than what it is set at currently for the NS version, and that maybe the duration of the blindness could be increased a little bit. Personally I think 1 round/level would be fitting for a spell of that spell level. Of course I didn't mention that part because I figured the devs would change it to something suitable if they saw a need to. Like I said before, I was merely pointing out something that I thought might not be right or could use a tweak. Just trying to help out.

2. if the devs wanted it to be 1 round/caster level they would have done that to begin with... why not complain about something useful.. aka why a person who has gone hostile to a faction can still get xp and an item from pking in their original faction?

There's so much stuff in NS maybe the devs missed something?
I'd rather mention something that doesn't get used and have brought it up than do nothing at all. It may be hit and miss trying to be constructive, but nothing will get done if you don't try. Even ideas that seem stupid or trivial may mean a lot somehow, but you'll never know if you don't say anything.
As for complaining, I don't like to make a habit of that. (Although others do apparently, so grouchy!)
