The Shadow Legion

I noticed that in the Shadow Legion it says you can't be a good drow, however Eilistraee is a goddess in the Legion. She is a goddess of Drow, but she's the goddess of good drow. I was just confused by this so I thought maybe someone was missinformed about something so basically, just for RP purposes, it might actually be good to place Eilistraee in somewhere like the Last Alliance.

She's the Goddess of Good and Surface Drow, and I think that's one of the only other places you can have Drow..maybe in the Northern Coalition too but still, it'd be a good idea imho. I could probably dig up other evil Drow gods to take her place in the Legion if you'd like. ^_^

You answered your own question. I like it when people do that. Yes, it is entirely possible to be a good aligned drow, sub race bonus included.

It's not possible in the Shadow Legion, only in other factions, but Eilistraee is a Shadow Legion deity. I was pointing out that it doesn't make much sense, so I didn't quite answer my own question at all.

My question was "Is this a mistake?" because Eilistraee is the goddess of good Drow, however you can't be a good drow in the faction she's a part of.

Plus I made a suggestion, I think it would be a good idea to move her to another faction where good drow are allowed to join. It'd match her portfolio so much more, specially since she hates her mother(Lloth) and wants to be a part of the Seldarine(The Elven Pantheon).

She sort of chose to be Exiled... but yeah it's probably an oversight... After all, look at all those deities. You expect all of us to know the histories of every one? Fairly easy to see drow in the description and lump 'em. :)

That's very true, you can't know everything about all of them(too many

). But anywho, my suggestion sticks, it may be very very good to put her in the Last Alliance, to kinda show "Drow can be here!".

However..if you don't want to rework it I can understand that too, it's just kinda weird seeing her there. I have a few characters that worship her and it's just bizzar, I'm sure you can understand that feeling.

So used to one thing, then poof, it's the other.

So the idea of LA would be something like "Join or Die!" ? They'll take anyone or anything, as long as that individual is willing to help them drive out all the other invaders? Good story, I guess, if that's what you're going for.

i think the point is that the LA is more of a "every individual can become very different from the normal aspects of the entire race". with this kind of logic it would stand that the differing massess of the world that don't really fit into the other factions would join the LA to defend their right to be an individual.
