i and a few others have began playing on a different server until ns4 gets an upgrade. in my travels of this other server(World of Torr) we have notice some things that would be excellent in use for ns. first of which is the issue of perma haste. this server has no real perma haste whatsoever, however if u travel on the road exactly your movement will be hasted step off and it ends. this one particularly is a good idea since travelling in ns4 is so long and drawn out it will make things easier to get around as long as u stay on the road that is. another thing that i like is that u can hire henchmen to follow and fight for u. most are lvl 5-8 and there is a commander who is a lvl 15 fighter, but none of them have any kind of special gear whatsoever. think about these 2 points and mull them over. i think they might be ok ideas. if your more interested in them check out the World of Torr setup and talk to DrDread the DM there, see what he would say about some of his stuff. anyway just food for thought.

One of the things Ive run into in my search for a replacement server for NS was a nice option to replace permahaste...simply put increased run speed on some items, saves the excessive travel times, but doesnt grant you the extra attacks or spells per round of permahaste.

I can give you one good idea too that some people would appreciate, add items only with expetious retreat instead haste, that way caster with haste spell and for example feat that gives haste user per day gain their best benefit. That way also some AC builds would lose their +4 dodge bonus and give better change to hit such.
