What I'm trying to understand here is why the spell durations are limited. My cleric friend doesn't seem to have the same problem... most of his standard spiffs last till he needs to rest, not to mention the fact that he can wear REAL armor and use REAL weapons.
It just seems like the Sorcerer class has been severely crippled so far in the beta... no familiars, no good defense spells, good LUCK taking down anything with decent magic resistance... <whine>why is that?</whine>
